It's those LITTLE things, like the smell of COFFEE in the morning & that first slither of light that peers through curtains casting SHADOWS of dancing
leaves on the wall.
Unknown to us at the time, this journey first started in 2018 when we visited the Cycladic island of Mykonos, (a tiny slice of heaven in the Aegean sea) but it wasn't the iconic blue & red accents of colour against white-washed architecture that stole our hearts -- it was the island wide use of seagrass baskets, rattan furniture, textured linens & ceramics in various shades of beige. It was the independent boutiques & cafes that lined narrow cobbled streets, all decorated in this beautifully rustic, yet somehow minimal way with everything made out of raw & natural materials. But more than that it was the way of life; evenings spent dining by candlelight and slow mornings spent sipping coffee looking out to the sea. It was living intentionally & those small things stayed with us when we returned home. It set the tone for the way we spent our weekends & decorated our house and it certainly paved the way for The Norfolk Print Co.
Our collection of art is a blend of in-house mixed media & illustration and carefully curated, licensed design pieces from other talented sources that we harmonise into final artwork. Printing takes place on site at our Norfolk based studio, tucked away behind the port of King's Lynn and overlooking the Wash on the east coast of England. We use only the best quality fine-art papers, inks & techniques to provide heirloom pieces for you to enjoy for many years to come.
Conscious, intentional living is at the heart of The Norfolk Print Co., with our work inspired by the places that swept us off our feet, the surrounding coast & countryside in which we live and raise our family and the quiet moments in life that we often overlook. We love playing with texture & earthy tones to create art that we hope adds that little touch of loveliness to our customer's homes and in doing this, we are able to live the slower paced life which so many of us seek.
Summer 2020, we proudly moved our work out of the tiny corner of our living room and into our very own studio with views of passing ships & sunsets overlooking the Great River Ouse.
